Hello, my name is Jennifer Spann, teacher of computer applications, wife of the awesome Wesley Spann, supermom to three very beautiful, strong minded, and wonderful little girls. I have a full and rich life, keeping up with the family, all our interests, enriching the minds of middle schoolers, and getting my master's degree.
As a nod to my IMP, I've inserted a picture of myself in one of my older costumes. I have several, though admittedly, this is currently my only "cabaret" outfit. I really prefer my pseudo-period, more gypsy style costuming when I dance.
I've really enjoyed this program learning much about best practices of teaching both the concept of technology and with technology. Further, I look forward to continuing my own education and sharing what I've learned with my co-workers. I have two websites I've created that I will use to share the information I learn: Streaming Video Used for Instructional Support and X-Spann your Accessibility with Closed Captions. It is my intention to add to these site as I have opportunity to explore. I would also welcome suggestions from users things that I could explore on these topics.
